Along the boardwalk you will find benches overlooking Lake Chapala, allowing you to enjoy the warm weather and the breeze so characteristic of the region, like an eternal spring. You can take photos with the giant letters that spell out the name Ajijic, watch the cool stunts at the skatepark, or admire some sculptures on your walk. Just bring a hat or sunscreen, because the sun will shine brightly on you.

Take a look at its characteristic kiosk, and if the heat is too much, visit one of the bars or ice cream establishments around it.

A few blocks from the main square you will find the possibility of horseback riding, and even in the area of the boardwalk you will find some people who offer the service. If you and your family are a little more adventurous, you can rent a boat to get to know Lake Chapala more closely.

One of the main streets of Ajijic, and which has several murals, is Morelos, which has the peculiarity of reaching the boardwalk of our magical town. A must-see site is “The Wall of the Dead”, a work by the artist Efrén González, which consists of red clay skulls, which honor the memory of former inhabitants of Ajijic.
